1. Introduction

Welcome to Chempeh ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Chempeh platform, including our website and mobile applications (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Chempeh is a space-sharing marketplace that connects people seeking unique spaces for events, meetings, photo shoots, and other activities ("Guests") with owners of such spaces ("Hosts") in Ghana and across Africa.

2. Eligibility

To use Chempeh, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be a resident of Ghana or an African country where we operate
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable law

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Bookings and Payments

All bookings are subject to Host approval. When you book a space:

• You agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable service fees
• Payments are processed in Ghana Cedis (GHS) via our approved payment methods including mobile money and bank transfer
• Hosts receive payment after the booking is confirmed and completed
• Cancellation policies are set by individual Hosts and displayed on each listing

5. Host Responsibilities

As a Host, you agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions and photos of your space
• Maintain your space in a safe and clean condition
• Comply with all local laws and regulations in Ghana
• Obtain necessary permits and insurance for your space
• Respond promptly to booking requests and guest inquiries

6. Guest Responsibilities

As a Guest, you agree to:

• Use the space only for the purpose stated in your booking
• Respect the Host's property and rules
• Not exceed the maximum capacity specified for the space
• Leave the space in the same condition as you found it
• Report any damages or issues promptly

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Chempeh for:

• Any illegal activities under Ghanaian law
• Activities that violate the rights of others
• Fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Harassment or discrimination of any kind
• Activities that could damage our reputation or platform

8. Limitation of Liability

Chempeh serves as a marketplace connecting Guests and Hosts. We are not responsible for:

• The condition, safety, or legality of listed spaces
• The accuracy of listing information provided by Hosts
• User conduct or disputes between Guests and Hosts
• Any damages arising from your use of the Platform

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Accra, Ghana, in accordance with Ghanaian arbitration laws.
